European Casino Affiliate Convention Coming Up

The 6th Casino Affiliate Convention will be taking place in Amsterdam in a month. The convention dates are April 3-5 and the event is to be held at the NH Grand Krasnapolsky Hotel. This convention is the largest of the iGaming events that cover marketing and affiliate programs. In addition to casinos it covers bingo and poker.

One of the main topics of discussion at the convention will be mergers and acquisitions as they apply to affiliates and to affiliate programs. The gambling affiliate industry is big business earning approximately 450 Euros in 2007. The European companies have begun mergers and link websites and some of the super affiliates have been purchasing other affiliates. A super affiliate is defined as an entity that generates commissions in excess of 7500 Euros per month.

The convention will feature speeches and exhibits as well and panel discussions and workshops. There are also planned sessions that focus on poker and casinos or mobile gaming and affiliate marketing in specific countries. This is the trade show that draws the largest proportion of marketing attendees.

The Amsterdam convention isn’t the only one scheduled for this year. There is a June convention scheduled for Moscow and a November convention scheduled for Macau.
