A New Alliance

There is a new alliance in the online gambling world. This one is between CryptoLogic and Party Gaming. The new partnership between the two represents an attempt to minimize costs and to pool their efforts to navigate through a rough economic situation, in addition to the domain name seizures in the state of Kentucky.

CryptoLogic has had its problems in the past. First it lost the William Hill business and then watched its market shares plummet over a two year period. In addition, the World Poker Tour is supposed to be ending in November.

The new partnership with Party Gaming is to last for five years and is expected to cover six games. The new venture will begin in early 2009 and will allow Party Gaming the option of adding any of the CryptoLogic games that it wants.

Both parties are happy about the new partnership. Party is a big name in the online casino industry and is looking forward to be bringing some of the CryptoLogic games to its customers. Party is hoping that the new venture will help grow their customer base. This new venture is the ninth such successful deal for CryptoLogic during 2008. The others have included 888.com, Sky Betting and Betjacks.
