IG Sport Launches New Online Casino

IG Sport and their extrabet.com site have launched a new online casino.  The new casino, powered by Chartwell Technology, is the first online casino site licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.

The new casino, which was launched last week, is an addition to the IG Sport offerings which include sports spread betting, fixed odds betting, sports binary betting and financial markets. The company says that even though their other areas of betting are strong, they realize that their customers want to take part in other forms of gambling, which is why they launched their casino. Their goal is to offer their customers everything they want from one site.

Since the new online casino is licensed and regulated under UK law, their Chartwell software and games had to undergo strict testing and certification by the UK Gaming Commission.  They had to prove that they met or exceeded gaming standards anywhere in the world.  They had to guarantee maximum security and that they met the reporting standards required by the UK authorities.  Chartwell and IG Sport are both proud of their accomplishment.

The new casino can be accessed from the IG Sport homepage where the player must login.  They offer the traditional casino games in addition to a selection of soft games like darts.
