Lasseters Casino Closes
Lasseters Casino has closed its online operations. The Australian casino had been in business since 1999 and says it is no longer competitive and cannot retain its market share. Because of this, it ceased operations.
The online casino ran into trouble on September 9 when its shares were suspended from quotation. This was done at the request of its parent company, Lasseters Corporation. The casino operations were being supported by its parent company and they decided that the casino operation was no longer viable. The casino has been drawing support from the corporation for the last two years and management decided that they could not turn a profit or be self sufficient given the current market situations.
Players can still access the casino to withdraw their funds if they have any in their accounts. Players are being referred to Mansion Casino.
Lasseters also operated a sportsbook operation along with the casino. Their Ausvegas casino is also closed and they are not taking any bets on any of their casino sites. The sportsbook operation is still functioning since it was not affected in any way by the decision to close the casino.
Lasseters thanks their customers for their loyalty and support over the years and said it was a sad day for them to have to close the online casino operations.
