New Gaming Channel Launched by Virgin

Virgin Media has announced the launch of a new television gaming channel in conjunction with Alderney based Two Way Gaming.  The venture is called Challenge Jackpot in the UK and it will be broadcast on Virgin’s cable channel as well as on Freeview and satellite channels Virgin 1 and Bravo 2.

Players will be able to view or to play along with the casino games offered on Challenge Jackpot. The launching will be with the flagship game Roulette Nation and there will also eventually be live blackjack and live bingo included.

There will be eight hours of live broadcasts each day and there will also be automated games like Get Set Roulette, Face Up Hold ‘Em and Hot Shot Keno. Other games offered are Cluedo, Monopoly, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right. The television program will be supported by a new website at challengejackpot.com which will let the player play along with the televised action.

Both Virgin Media and Two Way Gaming are excited about the new deal that allows them to combine television with the excitement of a casino.  Players can take part in the action from their own homes without having to travel.

The new programming will be carried throughout the United Kingdom but will not be available in Northern Ireland due to legal constraints.  The new launch is supported by a £3 million advertising campaign.
